Drobo NAS Data Recovery
If your Drobo shares are offline, a rebuild stalled, or the dashboard shows errors, our Drobo NAS data recovery service restores access without risky on-device rebuilds. We support 5N, 5N2, and B810n used in homes, studios, and business networks.
For related storage environments, see RAID Data Recovery and NAS Data Recovery.
What we handle on NAS:
- Volumes that will not mount or disappear from the network
- Degraded arrays and failed rebuild attempts
- Errors after firmware or dashboard updates
- Permission or file visibility issues across Mac and Windows
Drobo DAS and iSCSI Recovery
When a direct-attached or iSCSI Drobo stops mounting or drops connections, careful handling prevents further loss. We recover from 5D, 5D3, 8D, 5C, Mini over USB or Thunderbolt, and B800i, B810i, B1200i over iSCSI.
If your case involves servers tied to these volumes, see Server Data Recovery and External Hard Drive Data Recovery.
Typical DAS and iSCSI problems we handle:
- Volume not recognized over USB, Thunderbolt, or iSCSI
- Sudden disconnects during access or backup
- File system errors after a power event
- iSCSI volumes that fail to attach or mount read-only

Frequently Asked Questions
My Drobo is stuck rebuilding. Can you recover the data?
Yes. Power it down and stop further attempts. We recover the files by working from the drives directly, without forcing another rebuild on the device.
What should I send for recovery?
Send the full set of drives in the exact slot order. Include any drives you recently removed or replaced. The chassis and power supply are helpful but optional.
I pulled a drive by mistake. Is recovery still possible?
Often yes. Do not reinsert or swap more drives. Ship all drives you have, label them clearly, and tell us what changed.
How will you return my data?
We provide a clean folder structure on a return drive you choose. If you used Time Machine or shared folders, we extract the files so they are easy to access on Mac and Windows. Encrypted sets require valid passwords or keys.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Timeline and price depend on the model, drive count, and disk condition. After evaluation you receive a fixed, no-obligation quote. No data recovered, no charge.
